Ryan Gianelloni, 2010 graduate of the University of New Orleans BFA program, utilizes both natural and found objects to bring texture and depth to otherwise flat surfaces. Often, these objects are inclusive of bamboo, string, and other collected materials - then finishing the work experimenting with various metal leaf. Gianelloni’s artwork has been part of numerous group shows. He is currently preparing for a solo show in October at the Hammond Regional Arts Center.
